 My Journey

My deep fascination with the human body didn't start in a classroom—it started on the road to recovery. After an initial car accident, I got to navigate my own pain, healing, and rehabilitation.

This experience ignited a passion for human anatomy, leading me to complete my Registered Massage Therapy training with academic distinction, graduating as class valedictorian in 2019. My love for the field later led me back to the college, where I had the privilege of sharing that knowledge as an RMT instructor teaching Anatomy & Assessment.

The Turning Point: CST & Fascial

However, a few years into my practice, I had to navigate a second accident and manage chronic pain. This second turning point fundamentally refined my clinical approach and completely changed how I viewed the body.

This lived experience completely changed how I practice as an RMT. I realized that pain and tension cannot simply be forced or rubbed out of a muscle. If the nervous system feels threatened, the body will just tighten right back up.

Because of this, my treatments focus on using gentle, precise Myofascial and Craniosacral techniques to calm the nervous system first, allowing the deep layers of the body to release naturally.

When we work together, we look at the whole picture. I view your body's history like chapters of a continuous book rather than judging your pain by a single sentence. Pre-existing physical patterns, old injuries, and stress all play a role in how you feel right now. My goal is to help you read between those lines, sending you home with a clear understanding of how your body works and the simple tools you need to support it.

This lived experience directed my practice toward Myofascial Release and Craniosacral Therapy (CST)—highly gentle, nuanced manual techniques that target the deep fascial layers of the body to alleviate structural tension and support nervous system regulation.

Driven by a lifelong love of learning, I have built a distinct niche within my massage therapy practice focused on Craniosacral Therapy in Surrey.

To support this, I actively pursue ongoing post-graduate training with the Upledger Institute to continually deepen my knowledge.

I love empowering my patients with a clear, accessible understanding of how their own bodies work so they can feel in control of their health journey.

A New Chapter: From Abbotsford to Surrey

After many rewarding years building a busy practice in Abbotsford, I have recently relocated to Surrey to establish my new clinical home. I am incredibly excited to connect with this vibrant community and welcome new patients to my practice looking for an experienced Surrey RMT.

Within my general RMT practice, I have a particular interest and passion in supporting:

  • Complex Chronic Conditions: Working with patients seeking TMJ dysfunction (jaw pain) relief, chronic headaches, migraines, Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue syndrome and post-concussion RMT care.

  • TMJ / Buccal Massage: Provide relief and relaxation for fascial  & jaw tension, headaches, clenching and guarding.

  • Perinatal Massage Care: Supporting mothers navigating the profound structural and systemic changes of pregnancy and postpartum life through trimester informed prenatal massage and postpartum RMT treatments.

  • Pediatric Massage Care: Providing gentle Craniosacral therapy for children and teens to support their early development, comfort, and nervous system regulation.

Life Outside the Clinic

When I’m not at the treatment table, I practice what I teach my patients: actively taking time to care for my own health and wellness.

You can usually find me meditating, teaching yoga, watching the sunset, playing singing bowls, hiking, travelling, practicing Mat Pilates, or getting lost in a creative project or a great book.

I love cooking, tending to my growing collection of plants, and spending quality time with my dogs.

I am also deeply grateful to give back to our community through my ongoing volunteer work with the One Caring Human Society.

Looking for a new RMT in Surrey?

Whether you are dealing with chronic pain, navigating a major life transition, or looking for a gentle approach to your physical well-being, I look forward to meeting you exactly where you are.
